Description
This course covers the Chinese medicine differential diagnosis of the wide variety of clinical presentations that are seen in patients with concussions and post-concussion syndrome. Following this course, learners will have a much deeper understanding of the long list of possible signs and symptoms their patients will present with and why.
Topics include:
•Easy assessment techniques for concussion and PCS
•Clinical presentation of concussions and PCS
•Important intake questions related to lobes of the brain, cognitive functions, the vestibular system, and autonomic nervous system
•Chinese medicine differential diagnosis of concussion and post-concussion syndrome
•Clinical gems and case studies
This course is approved for NCCAOM PDA continuing education credits and California Acupuncture Board Approved.
